Data from clinical trials involving more than 500 patients demonstrate that the EndoBarrier^® may provide rapid improvement in glycemic control and significant weight loss by modifying metabolic pathways. The EndoBarrier^® is commercially available in select regions in Europe, South America and Australia. GI Dynamics is planning near-term commercial expansion into additional markets. The EndoBarrier^® is not approved for sale in the United States and is considered investigational.
